Class in Session Series
I’m a big fan of Decadent Publishing’s 1Night Stand series. I’ve read a number of them, and I came up with an idea for one that the house contracted. Madame Eve has an awesome job pairing blind dates in fancy hotels and other locales. A Different Class happened because I wanted to write a story that touched on bullying. I hadn’t intended on a series, but more ideas happened. I wrote Touch of Class by request for an ARe Book series.
Touch of Class, #3: This standup comedian takes kink seriously.

Maeve Kramer wants to explore her submissive side. After months of communicating with Master Q on an online site for kinksters, she’s ready for her first play session with him. Love isn’t on the table, just safe, sane, and consensual fun.
Jimmy Quinlan, JQ to friends, is ready for a break after a series of standup gigs. His agent wants him to audition tonight for a regional tour sponsored by an up and coming brewery, which happens to employ the sub he’s meeting.
A tour could mean fame for JQ, but less time in the BDSM clubs. Maeve lives to submit and JQ lives for laughter. Can both have their kink and enjoy it, too?
A Class Act, #2: When drama teacher Barry Kellam receives a mysterious invitation from 1Night Stand, he can’t imagine who would arrange a night of sexual passion with him. The only possibility is a former student who’s gone on to greater things.
Paul Merrill is the toast of Broadway, and Hollywood beckons. While the awards and fame are nice, he wants to share his success—and his body—with the man who inspired him. But Dr. Kellam isn’t one to date fellow faculty or alumni. Can Paul change his mind?
A Different Class, #1: FDR High Class of 2004 graduate, Glenn Carson contacts fellow alumni to get a list of who will be attending the upcoming festivities. One call to a disgruntled former student leaves him shaken—apparently, not everyone is looking forward to the reunion. Hoping to ease his frustration, he contacts the 1Night Stand service for a relaxing and passionate encounter.
Known as “Mumbles” to former classmates, Rod Maloney would prefer to focus on the present and his successful business. However, past tragedies continue to haunt him, so he requests Madame Eve find him a man to show him a hot time and help him forget his troubles. Will their one night together lead to a reunion after all?
